I think I'd feel better with an acorn woodpecker around. These guys are loud! Loud, loud, loud, and they look like cartoon birds. They are all over campus.

I was going to post U2's "Fourth of July," but then I thought: nah, let's have a round of "Indian Summer Sky," which moves like a storm front over flat land and reminds me multiply of my childhood. We're all sentimental sometimes, really; and some of us are also naive. Long live naivety!— a quality in short supply on national holidays.
